Appointments

We aim to keep waiting times to a minimum. Our doctors are committed to providing thorough, patient-centered care, ensuring each person receives the time and attention they need. Because of this, occasional delays may occur. If so, our reception team will do their best to keep you informed.

To help us run on time, please make an appropriate appointment type before attending the practice. You can book online via the link above or call to speak with our friendly reception team.

Appointment Types

• Standard appointments are typically 15 minutes.
• Please request a Longer appointment if:
• You have multiple issues to discuss
• You are booking for more than one person
• You require a medical or insurance report
• You are a new patient (long consultation required)

Let our reception staff know your needs so we can book the most appropriate appointment time for you.

Phone Consultations & Home Visits

• Phone consultations are available to regular patients when medically appropriate. These are privately billed.
• Home visits may be available in certain circumstances. Please contact reception for more information.

Missed Appointments / No Show

Cancelling appointments at least 2 hours in advance greatly helps us accommodate other patients. Missed appointments or those not cancelled with sufficient notice will incur the FULL CONSULTATION FEE. Any unpaid fees must be settled before future bookings. By booking an appointment at Kareela Family Practice, you agree that any non-attendance fees are your responsibility.

Emergencies are always given priority. If your condition is urgent, please let us know when you contact us.
